Tellscreen terms of service (October 2026)

By recording, uploading or watching videos on Tellscreen you agree to these terms: record only what you have the right to record, pay for Pro if you use it, and understand that the service is provided as it is.

Your videos
- You keep every right to what you record and upload. You let us store, process and show it as needed to run Tellscreen: playing it, transcribing it, writing summaries and change lists, and showing it to people you share it with.
- Record and share only what you have the right to. Don't use Tellscreen for anything illegal, to harass anyone, to share other people's private information without their consent, or to distribute malware.
- Tell the people you record that you are recording them where the law requires it.
- We may remove a video that breaks these terms or the law.
AI output
Transcripts, summaries and change lists are written by AI models and can be wrong. Check them before you act on them, and check what a coding agent changes before you ship it.
Plans and billing
- Free is $0 and has the limits on the pricing page.
- Pro is $8 a month or $72 a year, billed in advance by Stripe and renewed automatically until you cancel.
- Cancel any time from Manage billing in your library. Pro continues to the end of the period you paid for. We don't refund partial periods, except where the law requires it.
- If a payment fails, Stripe retries it for a few days; after that the library returns to the Free plan. Your videos stay.
- We will give at least 30 days' notice on the pricing page and by Stripe before a price change applies to an existing subscription.
The service
Tellscreen is provided as it is, without warranties. We work to keep it available and your recordings safe, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted or lose data; keep your own copies of anything important (every video has an MP4 download). To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim about the service is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do, and continuing to use Tellscreen means you accept the new version.
